I've had a few really great mail-days lately! And I know you're just dying to hear all about them...
The absolute best: my Doll Quilt Swap 2 quilt arrived, from Canada, yesterday. (Not just a quilt but also some little treats for the kiddos- which were spirited off to their rooms faster than I could photograph.) And what a quilt it is...
The fishies are so cute!
Even the back is adorable!
I'm so lucky! And very happy. Virginia, thank you from me, and my kiddos!
I also received some things I had ordered. My Prius is now partisan!
I committed to a bumper sticker. This is a very big deal for me. I hope Obama knows and appreciates this!
Also arriving, new patterns from sublime stitching, and nearly 3 yards of the fabulous new Frida fabric. It might become a skirt... If I get braver about sewing things that are not quilts. And, a nifty tote bag from Adorn Magazine- I won one on their blog a few weeks back!
And last but not least in the long list of goodies: Ruth nominated me for a Rockin' Girl Blogger Award!
It's fun to rock! Thanks, Ruth, for the fabulous nomination! Now, I've been charged with nominating 5 other Rockin' Girls! Here goes...
Cathi at In the Pink, for rockin' and for being an inspiration to start a blog myself...
Jan at Be*Mused for some of the most inspiring projects and beautiful photography of them, as well.
Lady Linoleum at Monster Crochet, because she pure and simple rocks. Her blog is fun to read, and her original artwork is amazing.
Angela at Quilting in Cornfields for being such a great blogger AND commentor... And for loving bold graphic "retinal scarring" quilts as much as me!
New to me, Malka at A Stitch in Dye, for making projects that I covet. And for amazing color and design sense shared all over her great blog!
Rockin' Girls, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to go forth and nominate 5 of your own faves!
